Story

Along with a team of our amazing friends and family, we will be completing the following two run events in memory of our son, Cooper and to raise money for the Lullaby Trust, with the hope that one day we may know the cause of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and that more importantly, ensure it doesn't happen to any other babies or families. Event 1: Manchester Marathon - Sunday 14th April Team: Steven Whelan, Nick Sanchez, Luke Taylor, Joe Whelan, Dan Cole, Jordan Vincent Event 2: Great Manchester Run - Sunday 26th May Team: Frankie Whelan, Faye McInnes, Rachel Bailey, Holly Dumble, Alex Pattison, Jordan Vincent, Liam Walters, Jon Rothwell, Chris Oyston, Katie Sinclair, Rob Pendleton, Beth Everall, Igor Panikarchyk The Lullaby Trust is an amazing charity that save babies lives and supports bereaved families. Around 3 babies a week still die from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and the Lullaby Trust are committed to bringing that number down to zero. The Lullaby Trust have invested over £12million into research and have played a key role in reducing the number of babies who die from SIDS by 80%, saving the lives of 29,000 babies. In addition, have a number of services to provide support to bereaved families, including the Care of Next Infant (CONI) scheme in conjunction with the NHS - a service which we were very grateful for when having more babies. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will make each stride land a little easier. More importantly, help to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts and in memory of our beautiful boy. Thank you for the support. Frankie & Ste x
